Bo Reichenbach

Growing up in Billings, Montana Bo has always and naturally been active in the outdoors. After graduating from the Montana Youth Challenge Program he joined the Navy with the sole intent of becoming a Navy SEAL - a goal sought after by many and realized by very few. Bo was successful in his quest and only seven months into his first deployment in support of the Global War on Terror in Afghanistan, Bo stepped on an undetected improvised explosive device (IED) resulting in the loss of both legs above the knee as well as damage to his right forearm.

However, this tragedy didn’t slow Bo down at all. After countless surgeries and within 18 months of being discharged from the hospital, Bo was back doing what he looks forward to: representing Red, White, and Blue once again, but this time on the U.S. National Paralympic Sled Hockey Team.

When Bo is not training for the Olympics, you can find him doing what he loves in the backcountry of Montana and always with a Camillus blade. He loved growing up in Montana; hunting, racing, and playing sled hockey. And now, Bo is currently building his own home in Billings alongside his dad, friends and family within their community.
